Anyone hear from Helen (cordovacollector) lately?

I haven't seen Helen posting for a few months so I decided to google her name.

I ended up finding an obituary for a Helen Hanson out of Minnesota.

I know Helen was a breast cancer survivor and really hope it wasn't her.

A very nice lady. I don't want to believe it. But I fear that it is true.

Ironically, I thought of her after watching the Twins/Tigers game the other night and it struck me that it had been awhile since I've seen her post to this board........I really hope that it wasn't her as well....

oh-no!!! I hope that it isn't her. Do you think she is/was in her 50's as the obit says? Does anyone know where she lived? Chris do you have a way to contact her and make sure everything is alright...if so maybe you could ease all of our minds with a phone call?! Good looking out Capital Sports...but lets hope for once that you are wrong.

I thought about her at work yesterday and was going to post last night when I got home, but forgot. I hope one of the admins can check for us.

Thanks for posting... Its nice to know, even though its horribly sad news.

I echo all the other nice sentiments expressed. She was a gem.

This was my favorite post of Helen's, from this year's D-Day thread...

As a permanent remembrance since the day Dad died, when I stand for the National Anthem, I make it a point every single time to look at the flag and remember him.

Terribly sad news. While I emailed with Helen only a few times, she was a great person will ceratinly be missed. She had a great passion for many things (baseball, the Twins, life) and I will miss the passion and enthusiasm she brought to the board.
