A quick follow-up to Jack's comment about the red and blue Russell logo tagging. The red and blue eagle head "R" logo replaced the gold-stitched tagging in 1983. Actually, 1983 was a transition year as there are Falcons jerseys tagged "83" that have the newer red and blue tagging, and some with an "83" year tag that have the the gold-stitched tagging.
