Rawlings Bat, No Date, Or Batch Code

Is this a real game issued bat with out those two thing on a rawlings bat?

From what I understand, it is a game model bat, not a game issued bat. Rawlings game issued bats will have the date codes under the knob as well. Those bats may be the same specs and quality of wood, but it was not made for Mauer to use in a game. It was made for Mauer to sign and to sell.

I have a similar rawlings (different player)... that has only a model # and letters...

I know for a fact it was used in a game... I have seen a couple others as well...
