Let Me See Some Of Your Cleat Displays - Need Ideas

I have a ton of game used cleats and I have been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out a way to display them. Right now I have what can fit stacked across some ghetto shelves collecting dust. I am limited because of shelf size and as you can see, it just doesn't look good - at least to me.

I know about the clear acrylic displays that are the most common displays for shoes but I'm looking for something more. Something along the lines of a nice wood shadowbox, or something.

I make most all of my own displays so I just need some visuals so I can lay down a blueprint.

Lets see what you have - Baseball, football, basketball, soccer, hockey.....all are welcome.

    Thanks in advance....

first thing that came to my mind was 1:18 scale die cast showcase... check dimensions, some large shoes may not fit...

Something similar to this, but I know you can also find them with wood trim. My local hobby shop, which recently closed, used to sell a lot of these types of showcases, the wood ones were very nice. The all acrylic weren't bad either.

I think you can cover the back panel with some paper or fabric or you should be able to find them with a mirror back.

There is a forum member here who bought a shoe display from a sports store that was closing and uses it to display his GU shoes. I will email him to post a pic. It is a pretty awesome display.

Here are a few of mine, not the best but they work for now.

From top to bottom they are.

    Al Harris
    Gilbert Brown "signed"
Charles Woodson "with cut out for his turf toe last year"

Brian Calhoun (they go with his entire Wisconsin uniform I have)

I found that Ikea can be a good source for cheap modern looking display cases that are of decent quality. I used to have a few cases from there. Below are a few on their site....it seems like the tall thin case might make sense and it was $100. Just another potential source for cases.

Thanks for the post guys, but I'm looking more along the lines of something like these. Not so much a way to display all 17 pair together, but a way to display each individually with a pic, or card, or something.

Surely someone must have something like this......anyone?

Here is an update. I have tried my best to mimic a display such as the Tiger Woods and the Jeter displays pictured above, to display a single set of cleats but I cannot get it right.....

After shooting myself with a trim gun , gluing the damn thing to the work bench , countless putty repairs , plexiglass that couldn't hold the weight , and a black laquer that never set , I have tossed in the towel.

Now I am using a different approach. I am making a case that can display up to 12 sets (24 individual) cleats.

I am picking up the custom made shelves and I should have it completed today. I will post a picture when it is finished. I think you guys will be impressed and once again, everything said and done will cost me less than $100.
