Tom Brady Photomatch

With the help of the Hockey Tigers, I was able to pick up this nice Tom Brady on Ebay. It is a perfect photomatch to the AFC Wildcard game played on January 7th 2007 featuring the Pats. vs. the Jets.

When you are holding it in your hands, it matches up in at least 5 different places, but it gets a bit challenging when you take the photos with the flash.

By far my best find ever and unfortunately it is not for sale!

I've also posted this in the item's wanted section on a Troy Percival thread, but I wanted to post it here too. I've had this jersey for a couple of years now, but it wasn't until today that I was actually able to photomatch it.





Luckily this jersey had a very distinctive feature that I knew would be helpful in photomatching. This is a picture of the stitching of the bat knob on my Percival jersey...



And this is what it should look like:



Recently, I was finally able to track down a promising photo online from a Chicago photographer from 9-18-07 at Wrigley Field, so I ordered one in an 11X14 and here's the scan:



As you can see from the photo, I think it's pretty safe to say that I have a match. For comparison, here's a photo in which he is obviously not wearing my jersey:

Alfonso Soriano game used bat used from at least April 13, 2009 -April 23, 2009.

Notice the two black markings, its sharpie on the bat, i was almost mad when I got it because I thought soriano did it after the fact when he signed it, if you notice the black marking on the handle, the tape actually goes over it, so he must have done it before hand. The markings in sync with the middle logo, as well as the darkening on the handle, as well as proportion of pine tar. I think it's dead on.
