Re: Post Your Photo-matched Game-used Items Here

Derek Jeter 2012 Playoffs used bat:

Jeter used against the Orioles, racking up a total of 6 playoff hits with the bat before being injured. It may end up being the last post-season hit bat in his career.

David Robertson game worn 2012 ALCS jersey. Robertson pitched 3 innings, 3 strikeouts and got a win with this jersey. Was used in the game that Raul Ibanez pinch hit for A-rod and hit the game tying homerun and then hit the walk off homerun.

Ben, nice pick up on the Jeter 2012 PS bat.
Was it used the whole game for game 1 of the ALDS game versus the Orioles?

Cool Jeter signed gamer, Ben. Does the Steiner authentication match to that game as used? That would be pretty cool, if it does.

              Thanks all...
Yes, use goes from Game 1 to Game 4 when the bat was done, this way...

That's awesome. I actually have the hit ball from his first hit of the playoffs in that ALDS game 1. You have the bat used. Pretty cool. Great pick up Ben.

Just picked up this great Jason Varitek bat from 2008. He sure loves his two-tone Rawlings.

Re: Post Your Photo-matched Game-used Items Here

I photo matched my newly acquired Adam Dunn bat to his 2002 Donruss Studio card #200. I'm trying to track down when the picture was taken but my best guess would be during batting practice in a cold climate due to the BP style hat and the long-sleeved jacket (I'm really in the dark on determining when the picture was taken and would appreciate any insight). The bat was made between 2001-2002 and the 2002 Donruss Studio product came out on June 15, 2002.

Factors contributing to the photo match include:
                    -the taped bat knob
-the "lle" on the end of "Louisville" has a streak running through it where the wood was not burned
-the "d" at the end of "Powerized" is darkly burned
-the wood grain on the barrel between the LVS logo and the nameplate
-black mark on the right-center barrel (this mark is to the right of a matching oval-shaped grain pattern)
                    -nameplates are identical

Sorry.. new to posting pictures on this site.. Didn't mean to make three posts.

Matches on the button placement as well as the third button having some fluff sticking out of it underneath, clearly seen on the jersey as well.

Photomatched three of my Sami Salo jerseys today but the biggest surprise was finally finding a match for my rookie sweater. It's a 998/99 away Senators jersey that very well may be his first ever NHL sweater.

I believe I've photo matched my black Adam Dunn LVS I13 bat that I picked up this past weekend at the National Sports Collectors Convention. The card in question is a 2003 Upper Deck MVP Sports Nut #SN16 and the photo on the card is from a 2002 game. I tried my best to recreate the lighting and bat angle in the photo but, it being a black bat, this was the best I could do. The positioning of the 2 ball transfer marks are identical as well as the pine tar application above the LVS logo. Let me know what you guys think!
