A Lelands boo-boo...

Public thanks to Wade (wadeinbaltimore) for inlightening me that a Manny Ramirez home run ball was being auctioned off in Lelands November auction.......so I checked it out.

I don't know whether they got the info fouled up from their consignor, of if they botched their own research....but this is NOT Manny's "First home run baseball hit by Manny Ramirez after his suspension" for violating MLB's drug policy.

It was his 4th home run since returning.

Maybe the foul up came in that it was his first home run back in Dodger Stadium since he returned from the suspension.....but it's mis-labeled none the less. I wonder if the consignor is supplying his ticket stub with the ball.....if not, I wouldn't touch it unless there are pictures and/or a video of the actual consignor catching it on MLB.com

I have 4 of Manny's home runs, and I have signed letter's of affidavits, with witnesses names and phone numbers, and pictures and video links for each one. Without it.....it's all hearsay.

Not a biggie, but pointed out for accuracy's sake. And I will be notifying Lelands of the misstep tomorrow......if I can find the time.

Speaking of Lelands, I found one that was unbelievably deceitful/misleading. Here's the auction title:
