My 2010 National Pickups

Needless to say, I had a great time @ The National and it was also good to meet up with some of the members here (Geoff, Pat, etc.). Fortunate for me that since the convention was held in Baltimore, there were quite a few buying opportunities that I thought I'd share.

This first item actually wasn't from The National, but rather purchased from member Garistotle/Rich on the C2C Forum and rather than mailing it, he brought it to the show with him to deliver personally. It's a beautiful, 1986 Tippy Martinez Orioles road top:



As far as item actually purchased there, here is a pair of Bill Ripken rookie uniform pants from 1987:



A 1987 rookie alternate Orange Top of Bill Ripken:




A game used jacket & cap of Cal Ripken Sr.:



A beautiful 1987 road top of Cal Ripken Sr. (mangerial year) with TWO cigarette pockets sewned in:




And last but not least, a mid 1980's Orioles' batting helmet worn by Alan Wiggins (remnant of the number 2 on front brim):

I'm sorry that I don't have any contact for the mannequins...The couple that I have were obtained from checking my local Craigslist.

Ironically, that's a Craigslist purchase as well (the guy who listed it was the grandson of the Orioles famed, late radio/TV voice Chuck Thompson)

Super pick ups. Are the cigar pockets on the inside of the jersey? I kinda see the outline of it. Thats a cool characteristic for a jersey.
