ebay 1989 S.F.Giants World Series jersey

This seems to be my week to comment on Giants jerseys. Regarding ebay item # 230400227826 1989 World Series Kevin Mitchell road jersey. After looking at the game tapes from games 1&2 played in Oakland, this jersey doesn't compare.The Nob plate on the ebay jersey appears to have a more severe arc to it and the letters especially the "C" really missed the mark. The black armband is positioned lower than on the actual jersey Mitchell wore in those 2 games. Which means that someone tried but didn't succeed in duplicating a Mitchell W/S jersey. In case some of you may think that this jersey may be a "backup" only 1 jersey had the patch for the Giants game use- any "backup" was without the patch.

Just taking one look at the "C" on the back of that jersey and it screams FAKE to me. Buyer beware.
