    Mickey Rivers Adirondack ?

Tim at HOF bats has a great Mickey Rivers bat for sale. Does anyone know if it was rare for him to use Adirondacks during his Yankees days, can't seem to find many pics of Rivers anywhere.....

    Thanks

The bats legit. Are Mick the Quick's bats really selling for $1150?

Probably one of the toughest bats to find from the yanks 77-79 run. The last 2 I saw went for $1.2K plus.........sweet bat! Thanks for info.

There is a picture of Rivers on page 101 of the 1977 Yankees yearbook, and he is using an Adirondack bat in a game pic. This is only the third Rivers bat I have seen. I bought the first one I saw.

Is it just Rivers' YANKEES bats that are so tough and desirable, or are all of his bats tough?

          Thanks, Ken

I've been collecting Yankee bats since the early 80's and this is the first time I've heard of a shortage of Rivers bats. I've seen quite a few. Don't panic and buy one. A nice one should set you back about $500.

The one bat I haven't seen a quality example of is Reggie. I've been searching for a well used 77-79 Jackson for 20 years.
