    Interesting Joe Mauer Bat

I can tell you based on use characteristics and the length and weight as well as the handwriting on the knob that this is indeed an authentic game used Mauer bat. Apparently there was some sort of malfunction at the Rawlings factory and the batch code was never placed on this bat. Just model number (JM7) and year (2008). They obviously were OK with it as Rawlings as it has the factory handwriting which is an exact match to other Mauer's I own. Just thought I would show this one to you.

It was probably made for the 2008 All Star game, I remember seeing a Rawlings Morneau from 2007 that was stamped similar.

This is the one off ebay as a BIN of $175, right?

Nice bat, are you sure that 2nd number isn't an overstamped 9? It looks off for a zero...

Anyone else have any ideas about this knob? I know the bat is 100% legit, I just have never seen stamping like this before. Whattya think?
