this guy has the best collection of cuban jerseys. it is amazing. i think eventually his collection is to be donated to the Cuban Baseball Museum which he is trying to start up.

One option would be to go to Cuba and check out the jerseys up close and personal. Go to the website http://www.cubaballtours.com/
for details on the 2010 Cubaball tour. It's pretty amazing.
If you have a non-American passport then you can just sign up and go. If you're from the U.S. then it's more complicated, but not impossible. Academics and journalists, for example, can go to Cuba. Anyway, you might also want to run some jerseys by Kit Kreiger from Cubaball as he's been leading tours there for years.
