    Question for BMH

Do you know if in Derek Jeter's minor league career if there was ever a bat made with his last name spelled Jetter? Or who the player may be? I got it from a former Columbus Clippers employee about 15 years ago for $10 so don't think I was being taken, just curious about it. Thanks!

It was never entered on an order with that spelling but I would not doubt it went out the door with that spelling.

Thanks! It is a brown bat with block letters. I would assume it would be pretty rare. I am not a big bat collector so was hoping to find out if it was for Jeter or another player. I appreciate you taking the time helping out!! Do you know if there is any way to verify if it was for Derek Jeter?

Not trying to burst your bubble. Hopefully you can prove its a Derek Jeter bat. Good luck!

Won't be bursting at all! I have just had it in a closet for a while and only paid like $5 for it. Do you happen to know what number he wore?

    No clue.

You could ask Blue Chip Sports what number is on the knob of these bats.

Of course, that doesn't mean he didn't ever change numbers.

Thanks! Those are also Worth and mine is a Slugger, but will shoot them an email. Since I got this from a minor league employee, you are probably right that the number on this knob would be different than the one on his White Sox bat
