The COA doesn't address game usage...just the autograph.
The separate year and size tags also concern me.
Just remember who the seller is...Steven D. Berg, one of the guys convicted in the first FBI investigation of the hobby (the same one that nabbed Steve Ryan of North Shore Sports). Also, BTW, the same guy who got hold of a legitmate COA of mine and used his computer to make hundreds with the item description removed and my signature left intact so he could write his own to sell bad items and make it look like I gave them a thumbs up. Not worth the trouble.
It is pretty crappy, and the seller states it's the same as the pros would wear on the field (even though it's obviously crappier and the Bears never used Starter unies). Still, though, to be fair, I see no mention of the jersey purportedly being game used, so any deception is in the quality and supplier of the jersey, not a claim of being worn in a game.
Sweetness, I don't feel I was defending that seller, as I still made it clear that the "just like the pros wear" statement was wrong. All I said was that he never claimed it to be game-used.

He sure is getting crotchety in his old age, isn't he Dave. Mingya!
BEARS 22, BILLS 19 5-3 and still in the playoff hunt!
BTW...is it just me or are any of the Forum's other Bears fans disappointed that the Bears didn't wear a team-specific patch for the Toronto game like the Bills did. I realize that Chicago was the road team, but still, NFL games in Canada don't happen every weekend. Plus, it would give Sweetness and Triple-X chances to add to their Bears collections.
The Bears have never been one for patches. They did the 2 patches for soldier field in the last DECADE. So, I am not surprised that they didn't have them. We still have 1 more game in the throwbacks to look forward too, however....
Patches are nice but us Bears fans don't get many opportunities to get them, unfortunately. The Upshaw patch that every team wore is the most recent that comes to mind.
I agree about the Toronto patches. In last year's Wembley game both teams got to wear patches even though the Bucs were the "home team". Why not the Canadian game?
