Well, it's not the one shown in all the 2004 photos. Note the position of the upper chin strap mount. And it seems odd there's an unused lower snap behind the bar of the facemask.

Also the screws in the upper chin strap are not the type used... the screws attaching this chinstrap are generic Schutt screws. And there is no team colored "Riddell" stamping on the lower portion of the Adams chinstrap. If you look at this guys helmets for sale, 99% of them are fakes.

The Urlacher helmet on Ebay also seems way too pristine and clean. Usually an active, every-down playing, hard-hitting linebacker like Urlacher would incur a good amount of helmet-to-helmet gashes, scratches and dings on the front fore-head and on the sides of a game worn helmet. The Urlacher helmet on Ebay appears to be too clean, new, smooth and shiny.

Just looked at the auction photos more closely, and I guess the Urlacher helmet on Ebay has more scuffs on it than I realized. So perhaps it is a real game used Bears helmet, but hard to tell if it is actually Urlacher's helmet.

The problems are too numerous to list with this helmet. The decals, and the way the hi-point strap is cut are only the beginning...

What's the 54 in the interior? I'll tell ya - its wrong. Pads are clean. When have you ever seen a Bears helmet with the pad button left white? Facemask is brand spankin' new. The "C" decals are in the wrong position, not to mention they are the retail ones that anyone can buy on flea-bay. The chinstrap itself had the manufacturer lettering removed. Why? I'll tell ya - It's a garbage helmet.

Trust me - if there was ever one released to the market I WOULD OWN IT!

No big deal in my opinion. A little porn never hurt anyone. Besides, it's not like he stabbed anyone at a nightclub or shot himself in the leg or flipped his dumb ass out of the back of a moving pickup truck or had a dog fighting empire or fathered a dozen kids with a dozen different women or.......I could go on. If this is the kid's biggest mistake he's well ahead of the game.
For now, I guess.
