Actually we both had previous deals set up with certain players. Most of the guys just drove on by. It's not like it was an event or anything. I know I've been going back and fourth with Paea for month about his jersey.

Also, the gifts keep on giving a Halas Hall. Angelo fired, Martz resigned, Shane Day canned. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

No event, just a couple guys 'bugging' the players for stuff after locker clean-outs.

2011 Kahlil Bell jersey worn for the last two games of the season against Green Bay and Minnesota.

With so many injuries affecting the Bears offense at this point, Bell was about all that was left in terms of the ground attack, hence the multitude of hit marks, including Packer and Viking helmet paint.

I know this isn't game used, but wanted to share it as this is one of my favorites in the Bears room. The photo is from the Bears vs. Lions game, the LB crew coming out of the tunnel. I worked on the autos for almost a year, but never was able to get Iwuh to sign.

The famous Tommie Harris rookie year game-used jersey has a new home.
I've seen this jersey on these boards for years. It's the jersey that showed me the black light trick.

Who else has owned this jersey?
I'm pretty sure it started with XXX...

Here is my George Blanda Game-Used chinstrap.
This item comes from the collection of Ron Zera, he was the visiting clubhouse for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Wrigley Field from 1967-1982. During this time the Bears still played their home games at Wrigley Field up until 1970.

The chinstrap was used on 12/09/1956.
The Bears beat the Cardinals 10-3 on their way to a final record of 8-2-1.
Blanda kicked a 36-yard field goal and one extra point in the game.
He added 44 yards passing.

I also have a ticket stub from this game and a 1956 Chicago Bears media guide with Blanda on the cover.

I purchased the jersey a few years back from a well know Bears collector. Once I got the jersey I did some extensive research on it (which was fairly easy based on the wear), and was able to match it to multiple games from Tommie's rookie season.

I then sold it to a very good friend of mine, which I believe is who you purchased it from.

By far, that is one of the most destroyed jerseys I have ever com across. I'm glad to see it has a good home.

That one was tough to let go of.

I took it to Mears for auction (where it was evaluated, graded [A10], and listed), but it did not sell. That's where the letter came from.

I love the jersey! It is trashed, torn and stained.
I'm just surprised how narrow it is. It stretches like crazy to fit a guy that big.
The photo matching and the MEARS letter make it that much better.
