Re: Favorite Item less than $100
Dozens from players, none from family, with the best being jerseys: 1996 Cubs BP shirts worn by Bob Patterson and Kent Bottenfield (I still have both). Patterson just gave it to me, while Bottenfield traded me for a GU road Giants jersey he wore for 1 or 2 games before the 1994 strike (Giants hadn't even put a NOB on it due to limited time frame). Also had a 1995 White Sox BP of Ozzie Guillen obtained from Guillen for a GU Angels jersey of close friend and Venezuelan murder victim Gus Polidor. That one went due to being too small to wear...wish I had it back.

Re: Favorite Item less than $100
To most, this is a piece of junk. To a Cubs fan, it's arguably one of the more iconic pieces of "game used" memorabilia a collector could own. Picked this up at a Kerry Wood fundraiser a few years back for just $50. Woody personally took it off his head a few hours before the event started. Yosh Kawano's filthy/sweaty/signed trademark white floppy hat (Cubs equipment manager for 70 years):
