Zybu -

As has been stated here many times in the past, the Rockies have NEVER had any type of consistency in their tagging - even in the same year you might see at least three different tag types.

I own a 2004 GU Home Helton (no 'name' tag in tagging) as well as a 1997 GU Home Walker (his MVP season) - again, no 'name' tag in tagging.

I live in Denver and cannot begin to tell you how many different tagging types I have seen on Rockies jerseys. And NOT just the Russell jerseys. My understanding is that they are pretty loose with the tagging on their Majestic jerseys as well.

My personal opinion - if MLB is serious about stopping fraud - is that the MLB should institute a League wide Tagging Policy as well as League wide Bat marking policy, etc so there would be no more questions or speculation if an item was actually issued/used by a player and not just a 'club house' item.
