Randy Johnson Bat Question?
Hello All,
I have a few Randy Johnson gu bats, and he's doing a show in New Jersey in December. Is it absolute insanity to pay $200 per auto and $50 per inscription?
Or is it a good move? I paid around $500 for the bats, so it kind of pains me to spend 40-50% of the game used item price for the autographs. Any thoughts....

Re: Randy Johnson Bat Question?
Yeah, well...my advice would be, if you want Randy to sign one of his bats, wrap it in plastic and just leave the part where you want him to sign it uncovered, and by all means do put the right colored Sharpie in his hand.
It also probably woudn't hurt to hold a gun to his head.
Oh, and tell him that Jeff said, "Have a nice day!"

Re: Randy Johnson Bat Question?
Where did you find Johnson gamers? My opinion on the sigs would be if you are doing it to add value don't bother as I doubt the sig since he is a living person who does at least one signing a year will add more value than you paid for the sigs. If you are doing it because you like having your gamers signed then that is another story.

Re: Randy Johnson Bat Question?
I personally feel signed bats are nicer. My issue is the fact that we wants $200-$250 to sign. As far as value is concerned I do think signed gamers typically sell for more. Thanks.
