Pete Rose signed game used batting gloves
Any thoughts on these Pete Rose Mizuno gloves? What is a fair price for Rose batting gloves?

Re: Pete Rose signed game used batting gloves
Due to the blue color, am I to assume he wore these during his brief tenure in Montreal? Assuming legit, I would venture a value of approx. $300......

Re: Pete Rose signed game used batting gloves
I searched Getty Images & found photos of him wearing the blue Mizuno gloves both with the Reds & Expos. Several photos showed the "14" written in about the same spot.

I would be interested in buying your Rose batting glove if you want to sell it. Thanks. Chuck

Re: Pete Rose signed game used batting gloves
I have an almost identical pair of these Pete Rose batting gloves, 14 in the same spot, same everything but mine were signed on the outside of the glove...if I have time, I will try to post pictures.
had them since 85 or 86 and purchased directly from Rose who also signed my 63 topps rose rookie too !

Re: Pete Rose signed game used batting gloves
regarding the fading of rose's signature, is it just that the residue of pine tar, dirt and sweat caused the autograph to bleed and fade away? in other words, signing a dirty portion of the glove did not allow the ink to permanently set?
otherwise, weird indeed.

Nice Rose glove. I hope he will get into the HOF one day.
