Brewer Clubhouse Sale
If anybody happens to be headed to the Brewers' clubhouse sale today / tomorrow and would not mind helping a displaced Brewer fan, please drop me an email before heading over. I would have liked to attend, but couldn't make it back to Wisconsin this weekend.
Thanks,

Re: Brewer Clubhouse Sale
I would have like a Catalanotto brewer bat. But if locker plates were 400-600, i can only imagine what a bat would cost. That is crazy.

Re: Brewer Clubhouse Sale
Hello,
I couldn't make it down to the sale yesterday because I had to work. So I went down this morning. YES, the prices were so crazzy I was only there for 15 minutes and left empty handed once again this year!!
Nomo121,
They did have Frank Catalonotto game used bat for $350.0
Bats started at $150.00 and went up to $400.00 most of them were Cameron bats
BP Jerseys started at $200.00
BP hats started at $150.00
The cheapist batting helmet I saw was $250.00
GU hats were like $500.00 and up
name plates were over $400.00 and up
batting helmets started at $250.00- $800.00 for Fielder
I don't know who is comming up with these prices for the Brewers. But they will not sell to many items at those prices. I know I'm a big Brewers Nut but I can't touch those prices for their game used items. JUST TO BAD. It's not as if their the Yankees!!

I didn't see one thing from Trevor Hoffman. It's seems like their trying to live off of the 1008 season were they made it back to play offs for the first time since 1982. I would just wait to see what they will have for sale a Fan fest in January.

Re: Brewer Clubhouse Sale
Those prices are unreal!
The Twins Pro Shops sell game used hats with MLB Authentication for as low as $35. They go up to around 200 for the big names.
Jerseys are 100-$1500 with only the Mauer's and Morneau's going up to 1500. Most everyday players are around 175-350.Ultimate Collector of Darin Erstad, Nick Blackburn, Michael Restovich, and Twins Game Used Jerseys

Re: Brewer Clubhouse Sale
Those prices are even more scary since it was advertised that prices would be up to 75% off, not sure what in there would be 75% off.
As was brought up in a thread this summer, the Brewers (as opposed to the group that runs their retail shops) and the ownership group decided that they were not realizing proper prices for the game used items when they saw items being sold from the team shop and flipped on ebay for multiples of the price they got from the Brewers for. The Brewers then put a few items on mlb.com auctions from Fielder and Braun, and since there were relatively few Braun and Fielder items in the market, those items realized a prices that were 3x - 4x the price they had marked on the same items in the team store. Add those together, and they decided items in the clubs house shops would be priced significantly higher during the late summer last year.
I have been told that they went a significant stretch without selling much / any game used from the team shops and they were thinking about evaluating their plan on high pricing. It does not appear the evaluation has happened yet. Heres to hoping it does sometime soon.
