Re: Any pick ups from the Red Sox yard sale?
The jerseys were not in bags. The prices were fair. The Plantier was in the box of jerseys priced at 65 or 75 - I can't recall which one.

Re: Any pick ups from the Red Sox yard sale?
Looking for a home or away jersey of Benny Agbayani, he only played in 13 games for the Red Sox in 2002.
On the home jersey he wore number #50 and it should have the Ted Williams #9 with black arm band on the sleeve.
Also, looking for any bats of Benny.
Thanks, Bobby

Re: Any pick ups from the Red Sox yard sale?
I just got back from the sale after leaving at 4 am.
The prices on bats were crazy with prices starting around $150. I didn't go through the bins, I thought the prices were too high for lesser name players. I saw a few price tags of $250, but what bats I did see people buying all were signed and had MLB holograms on them. The jerseys on the other hand were priced very fairly. I saw a Papelbon gray, 2 Nomar white, 2 Beckett red, Bucholz gray, Trot Nixon white and a few others. Some of those jerseys people had in hand already.
I couldn't tell if all of them were game used or not. Some did not have the number, size, year tag sewn on them, just the manufacturer size tag from under the label. Others had the team tag sewn on with the info. Some had the wash tag, others did not.
On another rack they had signed jerseys, but I didn't think any of them were game used, just team issue. The bins had a ton of jerseys in them, with usually 3 or so heads buried in each of them. I did see a few names I knew, but didn't stop to look. I ended up with a couple of bricks, media guides and a few other goodies from the "grab bag".
Oh, and I also got a 2005 red alternate Manny Ramirez game used jersey.

Re: Any pick ups from the Red Sox yard sale?
Just got back from the yard sale. They had 4 huge bins of jerseys. The first one looked like red batting practice/spring training jerseys. Not much to choose from (I saw at least 3 Bill Hassleman shirts). They had 2 bins full of grey road jerseys. There were a mix of jerseys from the early 90's onto as recent as 3 years ago. Pretty slim pickings in terms of notable players, A lot of coaches and guys I hadn't heard of- and I follow the Sox very closely! I could find the Plantier or Agbayani that a few folks were looking for. The 4th bin was 1/2 full of home white jerseys.
The best part: the jerseys were 2 for 1 at $75!!
I picked up:
93 road grey Rob Deer. Numbers and name are heavily frayed. No stip/year tag
05 road grey Chad Bradford. Strip tag in front and heavily worn 0062 tagging inside
I almost picked up a 95 road grey Greg Blosser, but decided on the Deer and Bradford instead.
Great bargains at 2 for $75! As for the bats, they were ridiculously priced ($200 for a Willy Mo Pena- I saw the same bat last year). There were a ton of autographed bats, but they showed no game use at all. I think Julio Lugo was $175)
