Re: Ever have any of your items on a card?

hello...one of my favorite jerseys is on three different cards. the jersey is of garin veris of the new england patriots. garin wore #60 and it is 1988 champion jersey. it is on his 1989 pro set, 1989 score and his 1989 starting lineup. sorry i do not know how to post pics. this is a really nice thread and i love to look at all of the game used items!

I have a Mark Brunell uniform that I have matched to over a dozen cards. It is trashed (muddy as all heck) and the card companies must have loved the photos from that game.

Here's some bad pics of the Bruce Hurst jersey... I would have added them to my original post but no edit feature...

i acquired these kicks in 1996 from a local school charity event in St Louis.

i was able to get Ray to sign them (which i now regret) a year or two later and was able to talk to him about them for a few minutes.

he said he loved them , used only one pair and only used them for part of the 1995 season. it was funny to see him check them over and admire them, as if to think about the things he did while wearing them.

anyhow, there are several 1996 cards that shows these cleats, here are my two favorites.

My recently acquired Jason Giambi Colorado Rockies Home White Vest.

Used by the G-Man in his 1st AB with the Rockies (9/1/09 vs Mets) - drew a Bases loaded walk for an RBI.

Also used in his 2nd AB with the Rockies (9/2/09 vs Mets) - his 1st HIT (2 RBI).

Hope you all enjoy! I know I have enjoyed the others...

    - Chris

P.S. - I haven't checked the new cards, but the 2009 Topps Unique was the 1st Giambi Rockies card as far as I am aware!

I have the hat and spikes that Drew Storen wore during the photo shoot with Steven Strasburg in ESPN the mag a few months ago.

Got them direct from Storen after Arizona Fall League and he told me thats what they were from.
