what exactly does AIS do? I know they manufacture jerseys, but just for the throwbacks?

they make jerseys for minor league as well as independent league teams, as well as throwbacks.

AIS used to be the jersey manufacturer of choice for the Mets during the 96-98 seasons. (I believe these years are correct but I'm sure someone can correct this if it's not).

AIS (Sportsrobe) produces nearly every uniform and jersey for sports-themed movies and TV shows. And as mentioned, made a few major and minor league gamers.

Ebbets Field Flannels makes uniforms for some movies also. I have a Met oldtimers game,game- used jersey from 1999 that was made by AIS.
