It was at Albert's home until a few weeks ago, at which point he gave it to a family friend who sold it through a third party.

I imagine the problem with being a friend or family member of someone with any historical significance is that you're too close to appreciate it. To you, they're just good 'ol Joe Schmoe.

Fortunately, most collectors have no such problem

Picked up two items from the Braves today. A Jeff Francoeur game worn helmet (good use) and a Javier Vazquez BP jersey. The Vazquez is going on eBay and I want to keep the Francoeur but it depends on how much I make in return for the Vazquez. It's a pretty sweet helmet! I brought my girlfriend with me when I picked up the helmet & jersey in Atlanta and I pulled it out of the bag and all she could say is "oh my god you're so weird"

January was a pretty good month for me! A 1992 Eric Davis home white jersey and a 2009 Carson Palmer signed BCA sideline worn hat picked up from NFL Auctions.

I have made some trades and have gotten a game issued Kenji Johjima bat (Really cool I think), an OSU Thaddeus Gibson game worn glove from the National Championship game versus LSU (signed and marked appropriately with his then #37 he wore his freshman year), and two Raiders gamers from former Buckeyes Chris Riehm and Rory Graves. If anyone wants to see photos, I can post them.

Sorry, EricDavisFan if you ever part with any of your jerseys let me know. I lost out on one of his and have regretted ever since, currently have a reds, orioles and dodgers bat I just picked up. Nicer jersey

1996 Game Used Autographed Mark McGwire Bat
Cracked and Beat to Hell.
Very Very Happy. The pics on ebay were dark, so it was a gamble. But i did end up paying a decent amount but the use is TREMENDOUS. Very Happy!!

Are those seam impressions on the back of the barrel?!?! Those looks like they made a dent in the bat

yes sir, those are seam impressions. The barrel is beat like a rented mule. ABSOLUTLEY pounded. There were no scans of pics of the bat on ebay. WHen i got it today in the mail, and i raised to the light i almost fainted. I could not get over how pounded it was
