Question about Wilson Tagging

I have these Wilson game used player pants tagged SP2009. I know the 2009 is for the year. I was wondering what does SP means. Is it SP for(Spring)? I was thinking SP could be the day and month. Keep me posted. Thanks B.F.

I'm not familiar with this tagging, although I doubt it's a date tag, as Wilson's alpha codes for years don't use the letters S or P.
