    For all of you ARod collectors, this is as good as it gets! It will be on Auction through SCP. It is item #552 in their upcoming catalogue!

    Starting bid is only $25,000

    Uh oh, don't say that. The guy that paid $20,000 for a Mark Sanchez jersey may get upset.

    Tony, also keep in mind that $25,000 is the opening price!

    Would love to know everyone's guesstimates of where it will finish up. I think it will go low at probably $35,000 to $55,000.

    hard to say. not many 500 baseball went to auction. Eddie murray's sold for $380,000 and Mickey Mantle sold for $144,000. It has to be less than both of these. $72,000 maybe, half of Mantle.

    Wow, great piece of history. Can't beat MLB authenticated, about as good as it gets for a historic home run ball. Anyone make out the exact hologram serial # and what comes up when punched into the data base.
    Who is the auction company?
    I'd say it goes for 75-80K

    i tried winning a signed baseball from that game and bidded $2500 on an auction. I think it ended up at $4700 with sotheby's for a baseball used on that game. i would think the baseball is the cheapest item on the list too.
