This is a Jimmy Presley Cooper bat that was part of a huge purchase of San Diego Padres bats back in the early 2000's. Of the 5 or so Presley bats included in the purchase 3 were LVS Padres, 1 was LVS Braves and this Cooper. At the time I chalked it up to being used by a minor leaguer but with experts around the country concentrated on a few sites I can get opinions not available a few years ago.

My first assumption is this is a Padres bat since 70% of the 400 bats I saw from this former clubhouse attendant were Padres. The number on the knob does not match any Mariners players except a relief pitcher before interleague play. So I was left with Bruce Hurst as a possibility except one of the Presley's was a Braves bat which brings an outside chance of Tom Glavine. Before I retire this as a bat used by a minor leaguer I thought I would see if anyone recognizes use traits or numbering on the knob. Sorry the knob shot is a bit fuzzy but still easily reconizable.
