I got my first Mattingly jersey this week, and just wanted to see everyones Mattingly collections! I know there are a ton of Mattingly collecters on this site. So I am guessing this maybe a very full thread!

    nice collection.

since you have a extensive collection of mattingly bats i can see that even though the bats are of the same length, the center labels are not all equidistant from the knob. also the distance between the center label and the barrel stamp are not uniform either. this may be a stupid question but what other variable would make this occur? not to go off topic, but my observation that struck my curiosity.

if need be i will start a new thread to get the answer. i don't intend to high jack the thread but maybe this knowledge is important to mattingly or bat collectors as well.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the items right now, but I have a '93 home uniform, 2 caps and a batting helmet.

Great Mattingly collection! Do you have a close up of the bats? Which is your favorite?
