I knew his game used items are very very high in demand but wow....If bats sell for 6k a pop I hope he has a safe and armed guards for his locker....A guy like Stan Musial has bats that struggle to sell at around 3k...Japanese collectors love their baseball!

He is very good but I think I'll take about 6 Albert Pujols game used bats or 2 stan Musial gamers for that price....or a little around 12 Ken Griffey Jr's.

This bat sold on YJ auction in japan about 3 months ago, it was one of the last bats offered by Major sports from the 08 season. I believe it sold for 360,00 yen or at that time aground $4000 US. At the time one bat ever couple of weeks sold for around 420,00 yen on avg. but those where not cracked.

Because Ichiro did not release a ton of gear this year, the prices have bin going up on his stuff from the past seasons!! I was told that only 3-4 bats where released from the 09 season.
