Impulse purchase. I just made one...

and wonder if you guy's do the same. I saw this glove and said what the hell. He was a mediocre player at best but he was on the 2005 White Sox Roster. I figured I would add it to my collection.

Thoughts? What have you all purchased on a whim?

I make some impulse buys. But I am no glove expert. I think gloves are things you have to do a lot of reasearch on. Maybe other can shed some light

I've seen a glove that a forum member has, and it is extremely small. You wonder how they can even use a glove so small

I think if you Play 2nd Base your Glove is also Small as I have A few of them And they are Small.

My Milledge glove seems somewhat small, but fits me. Anyway, I'm shocked to see a Joe Borchard item, I remember his Marlins days I liked him then, tremendous power but can't make contact.

Middle infielders usually have extremely small gloves 11 1/4 and 11 1/2 most commonly. They have smaller gloves so that the ball is easy to grab and throw. If the glove is large your hand has to do more "digging" to find the ball and could cost that split second it would have taken to turn a double play. If they could get away with using a bigger glove trust me they would but the way the have to play in the infield does not allow for it.
