Ruth Bat in Mastro Auction
Closing price of 28G?? Does that seem incredibly low for a A7 MEARS Bat, that is 43 ounces and 35 3/4 length....??
is it the length?
any input?

Re: Ruth Bat in Mastro Auction
Once you add the penalty for spending your money with Mastro, the price is close to 34,000.
That is a decent price for a Ruth bat.
The specs are fine.

Re: Ruth Bat in Mastro Auction
Actually, a Ruth bat from this era with these specs should sell for closer to $75-100K. The length is fine and the weight makes this a great bat. My guess is that collectors were turned off by the fact the bat was refinished. I would have jumped on that bat for $34K+++ if I had the extra $$$ available. IMHO, The winner of this auction got a fantastic bargain.

It does seem a little low.
