Any thoughts on the George Brett bat on ebay?
Any opinions on the George Brett bat currently on ebay? I noticed the center logo looks like someone took a sander to it. Also, if you look at the picture showing the entire bat, the area around Brett's name is alot lighter than the rest of the bat. I was thinking about bidding, but wanted to get some other opinions, thanks alot.

Hello, I am not a Gerorge Brett expert but knowing some of his charecteristics, it looks good, I would definitely suggest to ask other members here to verify, but to me it looks good.

i'm not a brett expert, but i agree with suave. the bat has all of his charachteritics. my only concerns are the finish on the bat (i have only seen unfinished bats, but i'm not always looking) and the private auction.
you should ask jim caravello and mike about that model bat.

Curious how one of the deep gouge marks around the Louisville Slugger center brand happens to conveniently go exactly over the place where the underlined "125" would be on a NON game used Brett bat! Any thoughts?

Is there a gouge there? I can't really tell if there is or isn't.

Think you're right, it's just the natural grain of the wood.

That's a killer bat, and the player characteristics are tremendous (I looked at getty images for comparisons).
