    Knicks legend Dick McGuire dies

Dick McGuire, Basketball Hall of Famer and 3-time NBA Champion with the Knicks, died yesterday of natural causes at age 84.

McGuire played 8 seasons with the Knicks, partaking in the 1951-53 three-peat Knicks champs, and having his number 14 retired by the Knicks in 1992. Of the 64 years the Knicks have been operating, he was employed by them in some form for 53 of those years.

The Knicks are now wearing a "15" memoriam patch on their jerseys to honor McGuire (15 was his uniform number with the Knicks)
