Go to www.urbandictionary.com/ and type in your first name on the top rightside corner and it will tell you the origion of your name. Its very funny.
I did this too, and the results were hilarious. I found that my real first and last name were the same as the main character, a Police Chief, in a murder mystery Romance Novel.
I actually did this search a long time ago, and was fascinated as to how my name was chosen for this novel. I thought that possibly I might have known the author. Anyway, I contacted her, and we emailed back & forth a few times. It turned out to be nothing more than a coincidence, but it was a fun exchange, and she was a really nice person.
