Am Mem bat auction results
Say, I may be a little late, but did anyone notice the hammer price for the following bats?

900 bucks for a Willie Randolph bat?? Over $1200 for HALF of a Pujols bat??
Am I the only one who thinks these prices are crazy?

Yes, those look like high prices to me, too. On the other hand, some of the older bats in that auction, e.g. the Slaughter, the Joe Morgan, etc., sold for less than I expected. Have you noticed any particular trends in auction prices over the last six months to a year?

How 'bout this one? A Clemente gamer for close to $25K (including the juice).

Re: Am Mem bat auction results
Earlywynnfan from seeing other Pujols bats sell that seem to be right on the mark. As far as the Randolph bat to the average game used collector that might be a bit high, but for collectors from New York a bidding war can always start to jump an item like that up high.
