Back when Cal was playing and I was collecting milestone & HR game tickets, I always had a lot of success (nearly 100%) by writing to the teams ticket manager (I would research his/her name) and making a polite request what I was lookng for (and why). I recall the Royals being one of the teams that always requested I wait until after the season to make the request...

I always offered to pay, but generally the team just sent one out at no charge.

Why don't you try this method before it gets too late?
