Carlton Fisk 1975 World Series Home Run Ball
Carlton Fisk 1975 World Seried Game #6 Home Run Baseball
I recently read that Cincinnati Reds outfielder George Foster retrieved this ball after the famous game #6 home run and he apparently consigned it to an auction house in 1999 and the ball sold for $113,000.
Does anyone know what auction house this was sold through?
Thanks
Todd

I'm pretty sure that the ball hit the foul pole.

Re: Carlton Fisk 1975 World Series Home Run Ball
in that time the monetary value of the ball wasnt a big factor... those uniforms worn during the series might have ended up in the minors....in the 86 series between the mets and astros u can see after the last out an umpire is on tape picking up a hat from one of the players and scooting off... 2 different eras

The most interesting part is that is one of the most famous home runs in history and the Red Sox LOST that series. Imagine what the Bobby Thompson ball would go for if someone could prove which one of the alleged balls if any is real.
