Johnny Bench Game Used Bat 1973-75

I have recently seen a 1973-75 S222 36" Bench game used bat. 34 1/2 is identified in pencil on the knob of the bat. Looking through Vince's book, the only 36" S222 bats are identified as 34 oz bats. Is it likely that this would be a team ordered bat. Thanks.

More likely is that there was a slight discrepancy between the ordered weight of 34 oz and the weight of the bat when shipped, 34.5 oz. The actual weight when the bat is ready for shipping is written on the knob as requested.
