Re: Show off your player collections
Absolutely blown away by the Giambi and Thomas collections on this thread. Player collections show the depth and true passion of the hobbyist. God...just amazing stuff here. You guys use the word "inspire," I'm quite happy to do so to bare witness to amazing collections like these!!!

Re: Show off your player collections
My McGwire GU Collection
Not game used - but rare still nonetheless ,
1998 Game Issued McGwire jersey - signed and inscribed "70in98"
Circa 95' GU hat (the guy i got it from also had a Gu cleat that was inscribed "95', so im assuming the hat and cleat were a set. The hat is sweat soaked and there are red hairs stuck in the hat.

Bob-
I'm sure I speak for Wade as well as myself when I say thanks for the kind words. They mean a lot when they come from someone with a LEGENDARY player collection like your Kingman one.I often think how hard it is to find some of the Giambi pieces I want, and then realize how easy I have it with a current player and all the avenues available to find his gear.Your stuff though..I gotta tell you,I was awestruck at some of those early 70's Kong Giants jerseys you've got there and then to think of the hunt for some of them..wow.Between the team recycling those jerseys back then and players getting maybe 2 of each shirt at best,it had to take forever to find most of them. But I like to think its a labor of love for most of us that makes it that much sweeter when we get something we've been searching for.
Take Care,
Joe[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I meant the Sizemore jersey from earlier in the thread. This is a neat post.
