Who are Authenticators, Inc?

Does anybody know exactly who are Authenticators, Inc.? Nothing relevant comes up on a google search. I thought the authenticators were employed by MLB directly. Are they an independent group?

I bought a game-used base from 2004 that was originally hologrammed as Deloitte and Touche. But years later the hologram was changed to Authenticators, Inc. without explanation.

I would assume that is what they are calling that particular division that handles that at Deloitte.

From other posts, I had the impression that Deloitte and Touche no longer does it. Somebody said MLB was getting people with law enforcement experience, presumably to assure integrity in reporting.
