    What do I have here??

I just picked up this bat and have some questions about it. This bat seems to be some kind of fungo or a practice bat. The bat is a Brewers team bat, it's only 28 inches long. There isn't anything wrote or stamped on the knob. There's sign of good use with tape on barrel and ball marks. Has anyone seen a bat like this before and is it a real Brewers bat?

Most likely a drill bat for one handed drills.

I had a similar bat made many years ago for Mariner Jack Perconte in the 1980s.

Players call it the "hammer" and it is used for top hand hitting drills.
