Have you ever seen, or heard of, a game-used batting helmet with a "DB" holo sticker inside? Obviously, it's not an authentication sticker, but just to show that it's licensed...but could such an item have actually been game-used (or issued)? I've heard of store jerseys being used by players, in a pinch...but helmets?

The holos aren't unusual. I too have a number of them with the generic DB holo. If you search through Getty you'll see interior shots of helmets showing the holograms, like the one of Eric Young below from 2002. I also have Dexter Fowler's '09 Rockies helmet (photomatched/team COA) and it has one. They've been present for awhile although they have little to no bearing on authenticity, imo.Comment

Yep...I have many MLB authenticated Detroit Tiger helmets that also have the sticker.always looking for Detroit Tiger world series player bats......game used 2006 & 2012 world series items....Quintin Berry bats....also interested in Ivan Rodriguez bats...
