Magglio Ordonez Knob Characteristics?

Magglio changes bat manufacturers more than anybody I've ever seen. I'm talking during the game; not just in general. Check with the Tigers Authentics Manager Marc as he could tell you...

Reason I ask is because I picked up a nice uncracked magglio rawlings gamer mlb authenticated that has his uni number on the knob as well as what looks like an 11 with a period after it. But no one on the tigers roster wore 11 that year. So it must be something weird he puts on there.

The 1 1 is the notation for the weight of the bat (32 ounces) I have seen this on many Tigers bats.

yep, the weight. If the period is after the 11...its 32.1 ounces....before the 11 its 31.9 ounces.....most Detroit tigers players bats are marked this way.
