ebayer "Dolphinboy" proof that he forged a Manny Ramirez bat!

ebay seller "Dolphinboy" real name: Mike Nardone offered this Manny Tamazawa bat on ebay in 2009, he forged the game use and wrote 24 on the knob in silver pen, after getting word that his forged bat was exposed on the GU forum, he pulled the bat from ebay.

Now it's being offered again on ebay after a year and guess what?.....Mike cleaned the bat up, erased the number 24 from the knob and is now offering the same bat on ebay as a game issued bat....should have left as it is Mikey!!

You can see the wood grain matches up perfectly and also the stamped number. Here's hard proof that he forged this Manny bat. Do a search on the forum and you will find a few other Manny bats that Mike forged!

Think twice before you buy anything from this guy. Ebay ID: dolphinboy

This is EXACTLY why I stopped Ebay a LONG TIME AGO.

Unfortunately, this is everywhere and people will always be pulling this crap!

Get a real day job to make money and do the sports collecting as a hobby, I wish we could have been able to keep it clean, but it is far beyond that now....sad really.

I have dealt with him before, but they were all jerseys purchased from auction houses. Jerseys are a little harder to forge than a bat, which is one reason I really don'r collect baseball items. I have never had a problem with him.

        Jason,

Glad to hear that things worked out well when you purchased from dolphinboy.

Personally, I would not buy anything from him, even if I knew the item was 100% legit and not tampered with and was selling at a bargain price.

I have seen some of his baseball items in the past and have even photo-matched them to a specific player, but I wont put money into his pocket after he continuously commits fraud. I know a few other collectors on the forum feel the same way.

        Thanks,
        Bobby

Nice to see he spent a few seconds on trying to make the '99' match up. Also glad he said the bat was used in 1999 but shows a picture with the Dodgers. Only 10-12 years off, no biggie!

I'm confused; what did he do wrong with this Manny bat? It looks exactly the same, no number added, no use added. He didn't make up some story about how he got it in the dugout. He even used some of the same pics. The only thing I see wrong is that he ays it's from 1999.

                    Ken,

He did not alter the bat in anyway. That's why I posted the link. He's selling the Manny bat in the same game used condition he got it.
