Jesus Montero Bat

I recently purchased a bat on ebay of a bat that was supposed to be a Jesus Montero game bat. The bat arrived with no numbering on the knob or inside the cupped end and no jersey number written on the knob. The bat is a two tone Rockbats model RB 13m-34. I searched flikr and although was able to find a few pictures of him using this style bay I couldn't get any closeups of the knob. Anyone seen any montero gamers? Any opinions on the bat? My guess is a game model not game issued or game used. Thanks

I was intrested in the bat when it was on eBay. I have had only one Montero bat, no number. But I tell you what if the bat does not have heavy and deep seam impression, I'd wonder about it. With the pure power he hits with, that's a trait I'd want on a bat from him.

I took these photos of Montero on Tuesday. He is using a LVS and it doesn't look like there is any tape.

I appreciate all the responses. The biggest questions I have about the bat is why it doesn't have and factory numbering and why his jersey number isn't written on the knob. I can't find any clear pictures of the knob of Montero's bats. I have found pictures of him holding a similar bat in photos from last season in Trenton.
