BMH... bat made on 4/27/09 used on 4/28/2009??
Is this realistic???
I don't mean to question the MLB authentication program or the seller, but a Jay Bruce bat currently listed on ebay states the following:
knob stamped 4/27/2009
MLB authenticated from game on 4/28/2009
Seems like a really quick turnaround... is this feasible?

I'm sure BMH could get more specific but if the game was in Cinci on the 28 I would think it would be very feasible for a bat to be manufactured early on the 27th and shipped out and make it the 100 miles to Cinci from Louisville in time for a game the next day.

He told me once re a Manny bat I have that he had a rep(s) drive it to the ballpark in Cincy when the Dodgers were in town. Same type thing I'd guess.

They are date stamped right before going in the box. Order was actually entered earlier. We hand deliver bats going to Cinci.
