I saw that live and just thought the entire thing summed up his career.

I saw the replay of that too, but what bothered me was the writer of the clip thought Brenly's 'cadillac-ing' remark was somewhat racist...?

Brenly - "[He] was Cadillackin' around the bases with his head down... Play the game. Play baseball. I hate to see that even in the opposition."

D.Brown - Ooh, I might object to "Cadillackin' " — not only because Brenly used a luxury car as a verb but for a connotation that might be misconstrued as racist (so why go there?).

Gary Matthews says that almost everytime a Phils player hits a HR...They will show the replay and he'll say, 'Cadillac time !'

In his defense, he isnt the first guy to do this, and certainly wont be the last....Ryan Howard got plunked at 2nd vs the Giants taking a double for granted, he loped into 2nd, only to watch Renteria tag him at the last second before he got to the bag!
