sanded portion on handle of bats?
I assume that the sanded portion on bats with black dot on them has to do with new bat standards-testing by MLB...but just curious what is it for? what does black dot stand for? Who is doing the sanding? Is it done before the player receives them from bat company or is it done in clubhouse? Sure does make the bats look kind of ugly?
