White Sox Yard Sale Pick Ups
This past Saturday was the Chi White Sox Yard Sale... curioius if anyone attended and what they picked up?!?! I bought Dye Diablo, 2 Alex Cintron Jerseys and Dye Jersey. Will post pics. The only Thome bat I seen was a cracked 3/4 bat with little use for $350.
I did have a question for the experts... several jerseys did not have proper tagging (i.e. player number, size and set series) but were listed as Game Used... is this a pre-season game used jersey?

Re: White Sox Yard Sale Pick Ups
As far as I know, since 2007, the Chisox have been wearing black cool base game jerseys in Arizona ST.

I picked up a bat of Pierzynski's that was used in the bat study.

Re: White Sox Yard Sale Pick Ups
Did they have any older items (from the 1980s), or was everything from the "current" black and silver Old English Sox era?
Thanks,

Re: White Sox Yard Sale Pick Ups
I bought a great Pierzynski bat. Most of his bats had bad cracks, but I found one with a tiny crack, a nice Louisville Slugger anniversary logo and good use.
I had a couple Quentin bats in my hand, but put 'em back because each had a spider web crack that didn't display the best. That and the $200 price for each for a guy hitting .180 made me back off.
They didn't have any 2010 stuff.
I bought a bunch of old programs and media guides for $1 apiece.
You can still find some good stuff at the Garage Sale and Yard Sale, but the quantity of quality items has decreased in the last three or so years.
